Monica is an experienced educator and college counselor with more than twenty years of experience supporting students in public and private schools in the United States and abroad. She brings a rare, multi-angle perspective to the admissions process, having worked in boarding school admissions and served as an application reader for a large research university. This experience gives her a clear, practical understanding of what truly helps students stand out.

Monica holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Religion, a Master’s degree in Global and International Education, and is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Character Education. She has taught in the United States, Norway, Germany, and the United Kingdom—experiences that deepened her appreciation for the diverse strengths, backgrounds, and stories students bring to the application process.

At the heart of Monica’s work is helping students develop skills, confidence, and clarity about who they are and where they want to go. She believes that strong applications grow out of self-knowledge, purpose, and authentic storytelling.

As a mother of two daughters, Monica understands firsthand the hopes, questions, and occasional worries families experience as children grow and prepare for what’s next. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys being an active member of the Jackson community and supporting local youth sports and service organizations.
