Starting late is still worth it. We regularly pick up seniors in the fall and get them across the line.

Monica has read applications from the other side of the desk. She's worked in boarding school admissions and served as an application reader for a large research university, so she knows what actually helps a student stand out.

She believes strong applications grow out of self-knowledge and honest storytelling. As a mother of two daughters, she also understands the questions and occasional worries families have as their kids prepare for what's next.

  • 20+ years teaching and counseling in public and private schools
  • Former boarding school admissions and university application reader
  • Taught in the United States, Norway, Germany, and the United Kingdom
  • BA in Philosophy and Religion; MA in Global and International Education
  • Currently pursuing a second Master's in Character Education
