Shealin is a dedicated educator with 18 years of experience teaching all subjects with a focus in math and language arts across K‑12, including regular education, inclusion, and special education settings—serving students with giftedness, twice exceptionality, and Autism in both general and inclusive classrooms. She holds her Master’s in Education: Special Education (Mild to Moderate Disabilities and Giftedness), she is certified in the Orton‑Gillingham method, and has been a professional tutor in that approach for seven years.

Shealin is originally from the Southeast and a lover of the Smokies, but relocated to Jackson Hole primarily for its beauty and extensive opportunities for mountain fun.

Shealin is guided by the belief that all students can thrive academically when given the right tools, support, and encouragement. From gifted students seeking enrichment to learners with learning or behavioral disabilities, she adapts teaching to meet the full range of needs. She feels math and literacy instruction is her greatest strength, and she builds confidence through both challenge and success—especially using structured, multisensory strategies grounded in Orton‑Gillingham and multisensory math. She primarily tutors elementary students with Orton-Gillingham and multi-sensory math and works on targeted skill intervention and test preparation for older students.
