Mareike brings a very diverse skill set to tutoring and teaching. Her background lies in both academics and sports. For over a decade, she has been teaching at the Middle School, and she holds a master's degree in education. She also has minor degrees in Human Kinetics and English linguistics. Outside of school, she has coached soccer and Nordic skiing and raised three boys.

Mareike knows the ins and outs of our local schools. She taught ELA at Jackson Hole Middle School for many years, and she also co-taught science, math, and history up to grades 8. She understands the online platforms and the expectations of the teachers, having been a teacher herself for a long time.

Mareike has a true growth mindset when it comes to learning and teaching. She believes that there is a way for all of us to grow and improve. She brings a tremendous amount of patience to her students and cares about getting to know them. She believes that a successful learning team must understand each other and build a strong connection.
