Zach Filmmaker Bio Pic.jpg

Zach Montes is a co-founder and director of photography at Orijin Media, a creative design firm based in Jackson, Wyoming. With an academic background in the hard sciences and education, Zach is passionate about applying effective storytelling to major conservation efforts. He has pursued work all over the world following a herd of orphaned elephants living in the savannas of East Africa, to filming the rich underwater biodiversity that make the Galapagos Islands so famous. His filmmaking roots can be traced back to the Jackson Hole’s very own Wildlife Film Festival. Never in his wildest dreams did he expect to become a full-time filmmaker, but thanks to the incredibly supportive community here in Jackson, he can no longer imagine another way of life. Zach is excited to share his passion with young learners!
